Hey all,

Can I echo Shad's post and thank everyone who made it through the flooding to get here. I had a really good time.

Tiring, and stressful in parts, but only because underneath I am really an unsociable person and I didn't get to go and hide in a corner for much of the time.

Having said that, I wouldn't have missed it for the world. It was ace to see people in real life. Real life hugs FTW!

I'm sorry for those who couldn't make it due to distance / flooding / other stuff.

Although power is back, the internet connection is *very very very* intermittent (keeps dropping out every couple of minutes) so unless is stabilises, we still might not be in game tonight. And irony of ironies... due to the flooding, our running water is predicted to stop some time this afternoon, so you all made it out just in time.

See you all around, will probably be in game.... eventually .... but if I'm not around, blame the weather.

Okay, Vicky apologizes for only now writting but she had to try and reorganize her life after she was away for 4 days.

It's amazing the mess a firm can get into after the lesser office girl goes MIAing for an extended weekend, eeesh.

Anyway first of all I loved meeting you all. Yep, I did, although my self esteem took quite a blow, because it seems that for some reason all british are gorgeous. I kid you not, I felt like a fat kid at a supermodel convention. At least I managed to embarrace Plas by being physically demonstrative towards Plas and giving him a hug.

Secondly, god bless Pix, because there has got to be a place in heaven reserved for her. Alone, she had to care for, drive around, feed and entertain a bunch of savages that just dropped at her house. Pix IS a hero also because she never ever complained and endure all of our demands with a smile.

Thirdly, I love meeting you all. And I loved being able of hearing british accents all weekend long and damn, if I could I have stayed there just to hear people speak. Most of the times I didn't get what Ves was saying, but damn I loved to hear him say it!

Everyone else was just adorable, especially MD who had to endure me panicking when we found out we were trapped in london because of the floods. He literally saved me from the London Subway, which managed to resemble closely to the Troll tunnels to me.

Shad was an angel, and he actually got out of bed obscenely early on Saturday just to drive me to buy the new Harry Potter book.

Bowling was fun but I got me sore for three days.... and I'm sure I left permanent damage in the bowling lanes.....

Still, I wish it had lasted longer. I had so much fun, that I didn't want to go back home. Drat. Now I'm desperate thinking when will we have the next meet....
