Having finally got my rear in gear and actually asked my mum about this, I'm not sure if I'll be able to make it. She said "I'll talk to your dad about it" and is abit iffy about the time it'll take to get there. (especially since its going to be the first weekend of the school holidays)
And my 360 has decided to die on me, so if I could come, the actual console is out of my 'to bring' list but the controllers and games I could still take.

After an agonizing wait and an exam from hell, I came to find that I have passed German Linguistics II and I can indeed attend the meet!
It was a fairly amusing show when I danced around the office, and had to the explain the boss that no, I wasn't insane. Then I explained the reason of the dancing and she danced with me too!

So... you told her that you're coming to meet a gang of crazy people, and somehow convinced her you're NOT insane?
How's that work then???
Also, congratulations of the results, and see you soooon.......

Well, looks like I won't be able to make it now.
Spoke to my mother about it, and she just doesn't like the idea of me going all that away.
Apparently, at the age of 16 I'm not mature enough to be safe on a long train journey.
Knowing my mother, she ain't gonna' budge on this. So I think it's safe I don't talk to her about it anymore and don't suffer any other punishment.

Awww, sorry to hear you won't be able to make it Sparky. We'll miss you. I'm toying with the idea of a death badger type run during some of it, so if we get online we might pull you into having a go. I can understand your mum's point of view. After all, we're strainge interweb geeks and a long way away. If we have another meet we'll have to make it closer to you.

Ok, the day fast approaches, so I think some organisation is needed.
First lets try to get a list off all the people who are coming.
Secondly, who's bringing what. Between me and Ves we have a Wii, 4 remotes and chucks, Mario Strikers, Wii Sports and Wii play, plus whatever I might buy today. I'll also be bringing a resonable amount of cash for food and drink and such.

Okies...
I'm coming, and as you said between us we've got the Wii covered.
Can't think of anything else that needs noting, cash for supplies etc, Jaffa cakes for Pix, piece of paper with important info (just in case...)
