I'm bringing my drawing sketchbook and the Sky One movies of "Hogsfather" from discworld, at Shad's request.

I'll be bringing my pad of doodles, as I might just get inspiration and I'm thinking of redrawing one of the ones in there anyway . I can bring 2 360 controllers, 1 guitar and guitar hero for the 360 (you can use a controller aswell so versus is still possible), 2 old xbox controllers along with a few games for that, a gamecube with 4 controllers and a few games for that aswell. Also, I'll be bringing just a few CD's as I dont really have that many

Guess I'd better bring my pad as well.
Then you lot can humiliate me with your art skills.

At least you're brave enough to actually have a pad. I'm so ashamed of my lack of artistic ability when it comes to drawing I won't even think of picking up a pencil, pen or any other art tool.
I'll stick to my attempts at writing instead

Okie dokie. Pads for drawing would be good, just don't expect me to draw anything, unless it is pictionary type pictures. Other info on the meet: As far as I know, the following people are expected... And unless otherwise noted are staying at our house. Pix (Fri - Mon) Shadowe (Fri - Mon) Veskit (Fri - Mon, staying at B&B) MD (Fri - Sun) Vicky (Fri - Mon) Solar (Sat - Sun) Fridan (Sat - Sun) Kat (Sat - Sun) Plas (Sat) Bowling is booked for 6pm (uk time) Saturday. 2 lanes, 2 games per person. (everyone owes Pix some money for that) Tesco shopping will take place on Saturday morning, but with Pix probably getting some stuff in advance. If anyone has anything specific they like / don't like to eat / drink, let me know. As far as entertainment for the rest of the time goes.... We have an XBox but only 2 controller at the mo (going to see if I can get hold of another 2 this week) Some one is going to have to work the Barbeque (entertainment for the rest of us. ;P) We have a garden genga set (had a go today... hehehehe, very silly) As you say, people are bringing Wiis. (weeeee, should be fun) And I'm toying with the idea of setting people a death badger challenge type thing to see who can get specific badges, with lvl 1 toons, in potentially nasty zones, in the shortest time possible. There will be prizes to be won if we run this. As far as sleeping stuff goes - we have 2 spare beds (one is a double if anyone fancies getting cosy so they can have a bed ), a sofa bed and an air bed. So it might be that some one is sleeping on the floor, unless anyone has a camp bed they want to bring. We do have enough quilts for everyone staying over though. If anyone wants to bring music / games / specific food / drink they are more than welcome. And if anyone has any allergies to cats, or countryside type stuff, you might want to bring some anti-histamines (sp). Looking forward to seeing people there. We'll miss all of you who can't make it and won't forget about you. Pixie Pix (Lu)

Okies, 2 things. I now have this friday off work so I can come down on that day, if that doesn't cause any problems on the Pix/Shad end
Also, my car exploded (not literally) so if it's not fixed by the weekend I may have to find other means. Most likely trains, where's a nearby station?
Apart from that, all systems go.
Edit: Car fixed, yaaaaaaay

Went into town this morning to aquire a few essentials (shiny new Converse high-tops FTW!!) and suffered a crushing disappointment.
Mario Party for the Wii (a collection of crazed party games, perfect for just such an occassion) Has been recalled after a naughty word was found in the in-game speech.
Apart from that, all systems are go!!

Just printing out info/directions for the overlords (parents). I'm sure I could borrow my friends Mario party game for the GC along with a few other games. As I don't think he's going to be up in Yorkshire this weekend (when he plays them).

For those of you who haven't left yet - judging by the radio, you may want to pack scuba gear for the first day or so.
See you there.

Just incase you lot read this: Sorry about not being able to make it, we tried lots of routes but everywhere was flooded. Really annoyed about not being able to go.

Fairly good, I'd say.
Sorry to hear about that Sol. I'm afraid the internet was down at Shad & Pix's so we couldn't reply.
Most others showed up with varying degrees of dampness and lateness. MD proves to be superior at Bowling and Ves won at Wii games (provided by Ves).
Next fun activity: Get everyone back out of that place and to their homes without resorting to a boat.

Well, the agoes down as a successful weekend, even despite the flooding that caused some serious chaos for many people travellign to our house (including me).
I hope everyone enjoyed themselves, because I know that I certainly did.
Thanks to everyone for coming, and commisserations to those who couldn't make it.
Oh, and letting Ves into Forbidden Planet might have been the dumbest idea anyone ever came up with.
