No problem about extra nights etc. I can be pretty flexible with work so am happy to be around on the Friday and / or Monday as needed.
If anyone wants picking up from anywhere (other than Brighton Sparky ;P I'm not sure I could cope with that long a drive to pick some one up) any time, just let me know. So long as I don't have to pick up from Birmingham and or Bristol at the same time I shoudl be okay.
Hmmm, one thing I guess I should double check - does anyone have any issues with cats? We have 2 and I am happy to keep them out of the way / put them in a cattery for a couple of days if people have allergies.... but would need to know in advance.

There have been rumours that this has been called off. I'm here to scotch those rumours right now. I'm too much of a nosy cow not to want to meet all these people I've been chatting to online for ages. So... here is an outline, very vague plan... Saturday: Noon (ish) onwards - BBQ chez Shad & Pix, with chatter and music, possible console games and if I can get hold of it garden Jenga. Music here is limited, so please bring a selection with you if you fancy. Anyone arriving early can help light BBQ and / or pick up last minute goodies / snacks from shop. 6pm ish (not booked or anything... need to think if this is good time) Head up to ten pin bowling place for bowling and general fun-ness. (will check prices and publish) Later - depends how people feel. Options are: evening at ten-pin bowling / evening at pub near ten pin bowling / evening at pub near our house / evening at our house playing console games / CoH / other 'puter games / chatting etc. Sunday: Bacon sandwiches in morning (Am thinking ten - ish, depending when people wake up etc ) Noon / 1pm / 2pm ish - Karting and / or Lasertag in Gloucester (again not booked yet or anything, will check prices and publish) Opinions / improvements / alterations / requests for more info all welcomed.

Meh if Stone is bringing danish folk music..
Would really like to come but ... unless i somehow get hold of atleast £6500 it is quite unlikely that i will be able to come..
( Car, insurance, drivers license. If your below 25 in DK a car insurance can easily cost £2000 pr year )

It all sounds ace, and I for one would like to thank our hosts in advance. As for bringing things along with, I do have the insanely fun box of multiplayer hilarity that is the Nintendo Wii, which I'll happily bring with. On one condition, no-one is allowed to complain if they ache in the morning after an over enthusiastic round of bowling, baseball, or any of the other daft, arm waving activities (please note, the above offer is wholey dependant upon me actually managing to somehow free the cables etc from the jungle that resides behind my TV. Too many toys with lots of wires)

I'm tempted to call it chéz CoX, but that might get some questionable guests.
That all sounds brilliant to me though, I can certainly bring music, A Wii/controllers, random console stuff, anything I can't think of right now. Also, I vote for bowling.
On another note, I'm not likely to arrive before noon on saturday, it being a 4 hour drive. However, if anyone lives roughly between Norwich and Gloucester, I can pick them up and save petrol/the environment or whatever.

I can provide a 360 and two controllers, or a gamecube with 4 contorllers if people want (although the gamecube needs abit of dusting off). Although my 360 doesnt have very many multiplayer games. And I have a few CDs I can bring. Bowling does indeed sound good (I'm starting to manage to hit quite a few pins without barriers now )

Okay, to make it clear from my point of view - and I'm pretty sure that Pix will agree - Please, please, please bring along anything you think could provide a few hours' silly distraction for people. Any consoles are welcome, the more games the merrier, music, board games, ANYTHING! We might not use it all, but having the option is more important to me than anything else. I'd hate for someone to say "Ah, it would have been cool if I'd brought along...", so bring it if you can!
Sounds like we have a definite vote for bowling - always good IMO, and a great way to just relax for a couple of hours.

I'm going to need a lot of prayers, guys, because I have a bit of a problem involving German Linguistic exams. On the 29th this month, I'm having the first bout, and if I pass, then I'm free to attend the meet and generally make a fool of myself.
However, if the worse happens, I'll have to attend the second season of exams, and my exam will fall right on the 20th July, with a finishing time around 6 pm.
Which means, if I'm very very lucky, I'd be in london around 10 pm.... which would imply arriving to gloucester around 1 am (if I got a train riding that late, that is).
Whereas I enjoy adventuring a lot, I do tend to get lost a lot, and I'm not that eager to get lost in a foreign country, and I might not attend the Meet over that accursed exam.
So keep your fingers crossed so that I can get rid of that confounded subject on the first try!

Best of luck with the exam on general principles. doubly so for meeting purposes.
