Not too sure about timing for me on this one. Get home from college at about 5, but I've got coursework research to be doing, so not sure how long that'll take. Hopefully shouldnt be too long and I can get it done before we start.

Due to an unforeseen (read: bad memory) mistake on my part, I will not be available when I hoped to be. On the other hand, there's nothing stopping me having the server online, is there? It just means that my little (read: world-shattering) plot won't be going anywhere for a while. I should be able to pop on later, though. Sorry for the mix-up, folks, but the server will be online.

Just out of interest, is there something I can do to stop my toon logging in to the middle of the peninsula district?
It's no hardship wandering back to the Trade of Blades to meet up, just seemed strange.

That's rather peculiar. My best suggestion is that it may relate to either where you logged out, or to the last place you saved the character. I can't think of any other reason for it to do that.
Oh, and the server is online, folks!

Seems I'm not the only one, Teh May!! and Sol both logged in the Peninsula, dispite ending the last session with a lengthy drinking session in the Trade of Blades.
Ahh well, just shows what happens when you stagger drunkenly through a city like Neverwinter I guess

What's your mom playing NWN for?
Okay, down to business, and back onto the P&P part of the thread (you do remember that bit, right?)
Due to part of our workforce being tied up with the customer this week, I have been short of coworkers to torture.
Blah blah blah.
Long story short, I'm thinking of running a few Paranoia games via the delightful mediums of the forums and PMs and require players. And that means you lot.
So, yell at me if you're interested. Doesn't matter if you don't know how the game works. You're not *allowed* to know how the game works. Displaying knowledge of the rules above your security clearance is grounds for Termination. Don't worry though, you character has several backups.
Proposed format is for GM narrative to go on the forums, and for players to respond via Forum Post or PM, depending on what is appropriate. I'll be rolling all the dice to make things easier (and you're not allowed to know the modifiers anyway).
Haven't GMed in a LONG time, but hey.....

Count me in, I have no idea what's involved or what to do, but that seems to set me in good standing for this.
Wooo!! all set already!

Right, that's about minimum size taken care of, though it's open to more joiners.
As you might expect, this being via forums it's going to be SLOW, but at least there shouldn't be scheduling problems if you can log on once a day or so.
I generally get home between 6 and 8 in the evenings, so I'll probably absorb player actions and post next progression around then, then people decide what to do next.
I'll try and get world background and character creation instructions done today. Keeping things simple to start.
