Right. Here goes. Next server-on is set for Friday night. This is, of course, subject to player willingness to play on such a popular evening. I would like to point out that I haven't RPd in CoH for a while now . Can I just ask what the current position is for everyone regarding game versions, expansions and other gubbins: For me to be able to get the best I possibly can from custom content (which I am working on), I need everyone to have the following: NWN Shadows of Undrentide Hordes of the Underdark Community Expansion Pack (CEP) v2 (free download) I cannot create custom content for use in the game unless everyone has at least the first three, and I'm seriously curtailed with regard to the premade custom content I can include unless everyone has the last one. I am more than happy to carry on as things are at the moment, but the restrictions imposed on me by the core campaign and available resources in it will detract from what I am actually capable of offering. Ta muchly.

Do not despair!
I am endeavouring to perform a minor reshuffle of my commitments to minimise timing conflicts, and therefore enable more flexibility on when I can have the server up and running. Of course the fact that I need the agreement of three other people might spoil things, but we'll see. I do not intend to (at this time) set a definite time/day for this - I'd much prefer to be able to stick the server on as often as possible, and if people want to play, they can. I know that not everyone can make every night proposed, and I do want to play CoH sometimes, so there's no way it will be on every night, but as often as I can manage it. At least until I can set up my modules/areas properly and then I'll be able to leave some things to the module, which would mean I'd be able to set the server as a semi-persistent world. We'll see how things go.

Right - Tonight. Server will be loaded as soon as I can manage it. I don't get home until 6.15 at the earliest, in any case. Prepare for PLOT, EXPLOSIONS, ANGST, POPCORN and perhaps the odd extra person as an added surprise...

Okay, Ves has spent his night productivly (by that I mean downloading the CEP V2 thingamajig and reading the 536 pages of OotS)
However, I could be wrong but Plas said the thing was missing a folder or file, and if anyone knows what I should be looking for, it's be a great help.
Also, how big is the thing ment to be. Is just short of 400Mb about right, or am I missing bits as there were a whole lot of options there though most seemed to be alternative versions of the one I picked.
Everything had been working fine previously, but I really don't want to miss out on any of the fun stuff that gets added in just to make life tough for our adventurers.

You are utterly correct, Ves.
The executable is only a tiny bit smaller than the .rar version, so there's not a lot of point getting one that you have to unpack for the sake of 8 meg of download. Just run the executable, and point it at your NWN folder (C:\NeverwinterNights by default, I think) - it does all the rest! If it claims that you are missing a folder (such as Erf or Tlk or Override), just go into \NeverwinterNights\NWN and create new folders with those names. It's fine.

One word.
Ouch.
Odds are it's NOT going to take that long (come on, it's 400 meg!), but it can be on the lengthy side. not really sure what to say, May, other than stick with it and hope that your download speed gets a boost at some point in the process.

Okay, this might seem odd, but I really need to make something REALLY clear (especially for one person, who shall remain nameless because I don't want to embarass you Vie :-P )
IF Mathias bitches and moans about people smashing open chests, doors etc, PLEASE DO NOT send tells etc to apologise, it makes me feel bad for having him moan.
You want to step on spikey traps or explode on nasty chests etc, feel free, but Mathias see little value in broken objects recovered from shattered chests. Less cash in his pocket is a BAD thing in his opinion

Right, NWNage scheduled for Tuesday 11 March 2008 "as soon as I can get online", which probably puts it at 7-7.30.
Hopefully see you all there!
