just found this one the CoH forums (in case any of you missed it.....)
Now then, y'all have got plenty of time to decide which toons you all wish to abuse for the few days ( baby empath? Not for long.....) and can easily try to arrange things to make the most of it. As happened last time there was a double exp weekend, I'm sure that we'll be forming a nice big happy team or two and smashing the hell out of the world with the usual levels of fun
Consider yourselves warned, now you all just need to decide on your next high level toon and make a start
Following the launch of Issue #9, an issue developed on the Union server that resulted in some characters losing items such as Invention recipes and enhancements. This issue was corrected during last Wednesday's maintenance.
Unfortunately, despite the hard work of teams at Cryptic and NCsoft, we have been unable to construct reliable logs of which characters were affected, and what they lost.As such, we will be unable to replace the lost items.
Instead, we will be running a special 4-day 'Double XP' Weekend on Union as compensation.
The Double XP event will begin on the morning of Friday, 25 May and run until the morning of Tuesday, 29 May. During this period, all XP, Inf and Prestige rewards will be doubled for all characters on Union.
We would like to apologise for not being able to reimburse affected characters with the exact items they lost, and hope that this extended 'Double XP' Weekend goes some way towards compensating affected players and expressing our thanks for your continued patience while we investigated the issue.
