Well, we won't lose global friends as long as we log in as a character with the correct name for our global.
LukeGUK will be created on Defiant, then!

My Global Friend list simply doesn't exist atm. Not just empty - completely and utterly nuked from the face of the universe and the residual particles swallowed into a black hole (Riiiiiichaaaaarrd!!)
Have fun finding me. I'll be logging on as Plasmarch until this clears.
Edit: Read Bridger's post. They've taken down the Global server now to try and fix the mess.
Have the FA been playing on it?

I'm not home for another three or four hours anyway, so it's possible (though unlikely) that it'll be fixed by the time I get back. I ought to be able to keep my global... but I'll try to avoid logging in entirely.

If my Global name is gone, I will go mad. Quite literally. Highly unlikey, as I'll log on as Shad when I get home, but it could happen, thanks to the wonderful person on Defiant who nabbed the name there before me.
