Doppelganger OOC

Well, I had a little idea for a new plot. It's very formative at the moment, certainly not well-thought out, but I wrote a little introductory piece for it, and figure it's not a bad idea to get it rolling.

It goes a little something like this - A woman (name unknown at this time) has recruited and trained a group of criminals to replace the FA in Paragon City, with the aim of "making a big score" - I haven't settled on what that might be.

This plot, if it goes the way I'd like it to, will require the active consent of as many FA members as possible.

The doppelgangers are planning to stealthily replace the FA for a brief period of time - acting as them, being heroic, doing all the things the FA do, until they actually commit their crime.

Anyone interested in taking part, make yourselves known, and we'll hash out some ideas.

It would be really awesome if people would be willing to RP their doppelgangers pretending to be their characters in "normal RP", with the occassional slip-up and so forth.

Right! interesting yes. Puts me in an interesting situation though, since I've been avoiding GG for a while due to certain things about it pissing me off beyond all reason recently, so would be tricky for me to get involvededed.

Ohwait, no-one knows or cares about my characters anyway! never mind me. ^_^

Granted, and as far as acting the doppelganger out I can give it a go, not sure how good I'd be but whatever. Are the originals all to be captured?

Right, I'm a little distracted today, for a number of reasons, so please bear with me.

The theory behind this little plottageness is because the FA is very quiet at the moment, and I want to (for want of a better phrase) revitalise it somewhat.

May: You're not the only one who's been having "difficulties" with GG, lately. I think it would be awesome if you could take part in this, but I certainly don't want to pressure anyone.

Kat: Actually, I hadn't decided if Rachael was a replacement for Kat or for Kit, so I was rather deliberately vague - in fact, the only reason I mentioned her by name is because I couldn't figure out how to write a story without mentioning someone.

Plas: Details will be forthcoming once I've a) woken up enough to think about it and b) have time to write up some gubbins. Oh, and the kidnapping idea is a good one.

Not been reading here as often as I should / would like, so missed this yesterday.

My only FA member character currently is Alita, and please, by all means include her in this. I still have several toons for her, so using one of them for the fake-Ali would work nicely (not that most would notice, but the differences between their capabilities and manifestation of her fire manipulation skills are somewhat noticable if actually seen)

Details as and when they become formed / available would be hugely appreciated, and if there's anything extra you'd like, just let me know matey

I'm happy for Lu to be uesd, but can't promise anything in the way of RP at the moment.

I'm still feeling wary of the RP scene and not really got my head back into any characters.

I suspect this will also require me to spend time reading forums, which I have established that I am not good at commiting to.

Right, before anyone forgets this completely - I am still going ahead with this. I have a few things to clear up before I actually go ahead, though.
