For those of you who have been asleep - the RPers dream, the I14 beta is now open on test server.

For those of you who haven't been asleep...
[shameless_plug]I've written and published one arc called Psychotrauma, which is pretty close to finished - a few more tweaks on the basis of some feedback I've had, but anyone who knows Shadowe or Sam would probably cope quite well. I'm also working on another arc called Training Day, which is far more generic. It's not finished, yet, but I've only got one more mission to go... unfortunately, it looks like it's going to be a lab map, so I can squeeze in what I want. [/shameless_plug]
Oh, and take a look at Plas' arc, Huntington Flees Again, for a good giggle.

Gah!!
I'm currently trying to avoid the test server tbh, I only really check it out if there's a new power set to try (so long as it's one I'd be interested in using on live) as I prefer things to be a complete surprise when it all does go live eventually, and lets face it, it's not like more people testing it will mean there's less bugs on release, we all know that's complete bull and issue 14 will come with just as many screw-ups as all the previous ones.
However, might have to give those mentioned arcs a bash, if only to see the work y'all have done so far, and to check out the MA buildings (which are aparrently awesome.
I'll be perfectly honest though... After reading the patch notes for issue 14 (which seems to consist of the MA and further PvP changes, and just about feck all else) I'll not be getting all excited over it, and it certainly won't get me in game more than I am these days. All I really see is more resources wasted on a broken to hell feature which pretty much lost it's player base LAST issue (PvP), when they could have spent the time adding more, well, content for everyone. And yes, I know the MA will add loads of content, but it'll also add so much crap that sifting for fun arcs will be required, and that's more time wasted, time I'd much rather spend enjoying the game, not a search feature.
Roll on Issue 15, hopefully there'll be something fun in it like actual arcs from real contacts, great arcs like the Faultline ones, or the Croatoa ones, or the RWZ ones. Sorry to seem so pessimistic and everything, but issue 14 is looking really, REALLY poor to me. I hope I'm wrong, but if the info we've been given so far is accurate, I highly doubt I will be.

We call that the mission architect.
Seriously, stuff the rest of the patch notes. THIS is what I14 is about.

Tried out Shadowes mission, well the first story, very nice, loved the dialogue. Will hold off on playing the rest until it is on live. Looking forward to it.
Nice job on the build.
Played with the Architect fro a bit too, I have to say it's brilliant, there are bits overall that could be better, but overall it's fantastic, flexable and easy to use. I love that fact you can create a whole new faction (I made loads of diferent ninja types just to see what would happen, they played very well).
P.S. re fender Frenzie, totaly sorry I'm never around for that (or anything else at the moment), I realy enjoyed the first few weeks, but RL just not permitting.

Pychotrauma now needs a lot of work. Things to do... Remove Marie from the first mission. Replace with A.N. Other of "The Girls". My choices are somewhat limited, so it's probably going to be Melissa Montrose. (Reason: Too much unrestrained KB with Richard and Marie on the same map. When a melee toon is being hit by lots of caltrops, it makes the mission impossible) Change some text to include obvious mention of Psychonova in a required portion of them mission. (Reason: The sudden mention of him in the "Return Success" text could be confusing) Remove the Malta Ambush in the Psychonova fight in mission 2. (Reason: A mind control dominator AV is harsh enough as it is. Adding a sapper into the mix just makes it a nightmare). Ditto for mission 4, though the insane quantities of allies available in that mission mitigate it somewhat. Scarily, I now can't remember mission 3 at all, which just goes to show how memorable it must actually be. Mission 4... probably cut back on the number of allies. At least they're not required. I'm interested in seeing what the mission is like on a larger team, because then Psy could spawn as an AV... I'm really uncertain about it, and need to test it some more. The biggest problem with the entire arc is that it contains copious quantities of Knives of Artemis, which a lot of people really despise (I'm one of them). But the arc was a testing ground more than anything else, and is highly unlikely to make it onto the live servers in its current form. And don't worry about 'Fender Frenzy. We're in the low-30s right now, and I believe we're thinking about looking at the Ouroboros TF's soon. If you can make it along for an evening, we can squeeze you in for some insane 'Fendering Fun, though. If not... nothing to worry about.

As a gift for Shad, I made a "sequel" of sorts for his "Psychotrauma" involving Sam, Richard and Andrew -- called "Psychodrama" (Yes, LadyEntropy is my US servers global). It involves the Zig, Knives and entering Andy's mind -- which is dirty and naughty, and therefore with a rather unusual group of villains called "Dreamgirls".
Then, I was bored and determined to enjoy my meager holidays to the max, so I went and made a parody of it, called "Psychobabble". It involves an epic quest for missing underwear, the possible and unbridled anger of a fiancee, and a close-quarters encounter with Shad's own Id vision of himself (or is it Ego?).
Any typo hunting would be highly appreciated as I am not a native speaker, so it's really easy to miss those.
Kit does a Cameo in both (although you'll need a big team for her to show up), as does Vicky, as contact\ally. I wanted to included more FA people, but I didn't have the opportunity to ask for permission to use your characters.

Define "naughty". Boundaries, please, for the record.

what, you believe I think through my lame oneshot silly statements that much? Iuno... obvious things really. pr0n-related things would be covered by the ol' EULA... I would probly object to her getting horribly murdered or seriously injured (at least without being consultededed), writing her terribly wrong (brash and hotheaded she is, stupid she isn't). Common sense really. And yes this is probably overly precious of me, but I's a (hack) writor, I'm allowed to be precious about my creations.
