Right, time to decide what we're gonna have in our rules. Put your ideas here and we should be able to come up with something pretty conclusive.

Personally I'd ask all alliance members to at least sign up on this board, if not post on it, at the time of writing this there's only 3 of us who are members, which is kinda lame considering the number of us in the SG.
I know some of them are alts and not active very often, but those that are, eg Quiver, Saint and Phoenix, could all do with joining up. we have somewhere we can keep track of multitude of plots that are active currently, and after forming an alliance with the WEE last night they might also find this board helpful for socialising with us.
Just my thoughts on the matter

Agreed on the forums bit, best make it known everyone should at least sign up.
A few things I can think of
Everyone under level 25 in SG mode at all time. This is becasue at that point it costs you nothing and, of course, all goes towards our base. It's easy enough to turn off the colours and symbol in SG mode if you prefer not to use them. I'd say after that it's your choice though there isn't a huge loss of influence gain at first.
Probably want to have something about "don't be an idiot" in there too.
Another thought is to have a limit on the number of active plots at one time. Thats active plots mind, not just things that are happening to your character.
Thats all my "only had one cup of coffee" brain can come up with now, but rest assured I'll be back to force my opinions on you.

Well, Shanghai is on board.
Oh yeah, I'd like to drop in me two penn'orth about rules.
No Killing, as Shanghai views it, heroes are there to uphold the law, not to act as judge jury and excecutioner.
In his mind, any hero who kills is a villain.

No *deliberate* killing. Some casualties are inevitable in an enviroment full of explosives, flamethowers, automatic weapons, circular saws, high voltage electrics...... Safety of citizens comes first, especially in hostage situations.

I can see SB and Kat having a bit of a falling out at some point...

Well, when I said no killing, I mean no unavoidable killing, if it can't be avoided, then it can't be avoided.
SB tends to think like a policeman, which is what he was in Shanghai.
As a policeman, he has killed before, what is termed justifiable slaying, but very rarely.
So he'd expect at least an inquiry into a killing, to keep it all within the law.
