Coalition forming tonight

TO: Silent Tempest, Fletched Alliance

Greetings.

Last night the Silent Tempest formally accepted the discussed coalition between our two groups. We propose to meet tonight at Pocket D to finalize the pact.

As a result your members will be granted access to our base and there will be a common communications channel for instant use. Use it to call for assistance should it be needed.

Subaiku already discussed a sparring match for our crews. That could take place tomorrow night. Arena, Galaxy City. May the best fighter prevail and sky goddess smile on the rest of them!

It is likely that on Thursday Tempest will be hitting a few targets. Fletched members are welcome to join. We can discuss this more tonight or tomorrow.

Well the meet and greet went well for some, a little bit worse for others. Ves arrived, was disgusted with the lame ass drinks in the hero bars, and decided to hunt down the good stuff. Unfortunatly Nyu arrived while he was rummaging and when he came into view he was on the recieving end of a slap. When he ran after her to try to make an apology Nyu decided a slap wasn't enough and kinda landed a killer jab square in the nose of the recently returned tin man. They managed to kiss and make up, and headed off for home, ((or rather Ves did, Nyu followed along shortly afterwards))

Mephiston's adventure at the meeting was far more enjoyable, good company in the form of Rachis, Subaiku, Jessie and Coile (though he seemed a little quiet) and decent brandy, not a thing could have been better, until he noticed a lonely figure at one of the other bars. He wandered over to say hello and ask the young lady if she'd like to join the group for a few drinks and some pleasent company. After an exchange of introductions Meph and Meadow headed over to the group again and spent the night chatting away together. There seemed to be a hint of chemistry in the air, with many of Meph's slightly veiled comments being met with either a smile or an equally interesting reply.

When Meadow mentioned that she'd been spending the nights recently at the GG statue Meph had no choice but to offer her a place to stay, and amazingly she accepted. As the night progressed the group thinned down to just Meph, Meadow, Coile and Star Crusader ((I think, not slept in days so could be going mental and imagining him arriving and chatting)) Meph and Meadow wandered to the next bar (due to our bar-man buggering off) and got a little more intimate, with the pair sharing a kiss. It wasn't long until they decided to head off to show Meadow her new home (Mephs living area at the FA tower, gotta love having an entire Sky Scraper for the SG, good call guys) Meph ended the night by asking Meadow if she'd like to join the FA, since she'd be around the base a lot he thought she might like to officially become a member of the family and showing her round the more public areas of the place before heading off to bed.

((Meadow joined up last night another sane person to corrupt in our insanity thread once she joins the forum family, and thats about it as far as news goes me thinks, that i actually know of anyway))

((That comment, Luke was in my opinion going way too far. A, because Alfred has NO evidence or reason to think that, aside from mephiston being a vampire.. And B, because it seems, to me, at least, an attack on a player and NOT the character.))

(( As ALL my toons departed the FA this afternoon once i read that comment myself for the first time, I feel it's time to clear up a few things. Of course Alfred has no evidence of Mephiston causing Meadow any harm, the harm was caused when Alfred invaded Meadows head and flodded her mind with messages stating "Mephison doesn't love you". ANY threats of violence Meph made were totally hypothetical, he stated that he COULD do things like destroy those Alf cared for, but WOULDN'T, however, he also stated that since Alfred didn't trust his word he'd have to live in fear of such an attack, despite the fact that it would never happen. The only manipulation being done over the last few days was on the part of Alfred, and he complains when people go against his wishes. And that folks, is that last that this board will see of me. Farewell, and I hope things go well for the majority of you ))

((Well, if thats the case, then I apologise for my earlier remark. Like I said elsewhere, I really want to stay OOC neutral in this.

But, like it has been said on the official boards, text commmunication is very easy to misinterpret and misunderstand, there being no emotional content to it, no matter how many smileys you put in your message.))
