* Thank you John. Iam in Galaxy City at the moment, several
people are lying on the street. It looks as if lightning has struck
them. According to the police, they are all criminals. It has not yet
been confirmed, but it is suspected to be the work of a hero... *

Meadow stood on the top of the Galaxy Girl statue. Trying to get
away from all the voices. Her head felt heavy and she was
exhausted. She should have taken her medication by now, but
she had forgotten, like so many other things, it had simply slipped
her mind. Sam joined her and shortly after Akkarin.
Meadow looked at Akkarin. She did not remember who he was,
but he seemed familiar.
Suddenly she remembered " Akkarin ? "
He looked uncomfortable, as if something was wrong. Meadow
felt something cold creeping down her neck, by the sight of
Akkarin.
She knew what he was going to say, yet she hoped that she
was wrong. How could that silly thought be right ?
" Meadow... Mephiston is gone "
Meadow froze. Memories starts washing over her mind. She felt a
lump in her throat and she turned her back to Akkarin and Sam.
Why ? Why did it have to happend to her ?
Her clothes changed as she started shaking. She could feel the
energy drawing near.
Akkarin kept watching her.
" Meadow, he died trying to save innocent people "
The lump in her throat grew bigger " He should have stayed at home "
The thing that Akkarin said wasnt making it better.
It was making it worse.
Lightning struck her twice and a mist crawled up, cloaking her.
She did not want to show her grief in front of the others.
She took off, feeling a mix of sorrow and rage, building up inside.
Some thugs on a nearby roof were laughing.
They were laughing !
The rage took over. She landed on the roof, lightning struck and
the thugs fell down from the roof, breaking every bone in their
body.
She looked down and suddenly felt the rage leave her. Only
sorrow was left.
She looked at the pendant Mephiston gave her some time ago.
They were meant to get married. They met eachother 5 months
ago in Pocket D. And even though some people were against
their relationship, they never gave up. They fought for eachother
and Meadow thought it would last forever.
But it was but a dream, a memory.
Meadow took off her communications device and dropped it from
the building.
What was left for her ? All she had left was her brother. But she
was sure he would manage without her. He had done it so far.
She leaped once more. Landing on the roof of a skyscraper. She
didnt want to face Ves and tell him about it. She just wanted to
be left all alone.
