After meeting with Ransack in Pocket D to try and get him to release Quiver (hell we tried everything, bribery, open threats, veiled threats and even business deals) it seemed nothing was going to work. He even stated as much to Veskit/Shifter, he wasn't in it for the money, and there wasn't anything we had that he wanted in exchange.
Ves realised it was basically a lost cause, lost his temper and stormed off, declaring that it was Quivers own fault she'd been captured for a second time, so she could sort her own messes out.
This led to a bit of a debate over the SG comm channel which at times got a little heated. Ves eventually apologised for stressing like he did and informed anyone that was still listening to him by that point that he was heading into the isles for a few days to cool down, and would have a rather large "do not disturb" sign clearly displayed.
Then he said good bye to Jane who has also decided to take some time away to sort out her thoughts, and set off.
