Weekly IC mishing idea

Hmmm, I like the weekly IC missioning idea. But this week didn't feel as though it went quite as well as previous times.

I felt as though we were rushing through the missions, which left very little time for the RP aspect of it.

Blame the aggro monkeys. That's what I usually do.

On a more serious note, since the majority of toons in the FA are rather high damage output types (mainly scrappers or AoE loons, even the evil 'E-word' defender with her pointy stick shower ) groups of mobs don't last very long so the actual fights are over almost as soon as they finish which leaves in-fight banter a little rare.

As for post fight chatting, well I guess that kinda got swept up in the kill frenzy as the team stormed through the mission. A shame indeed, but not unexpected.

Personally I think it means that characters will just have to discuss things on a more private level whenever they get together (never know, someone might over hear and offer help, which opens up so many more possibilities.....)

On a sad note, unfortunately I won't be able to make the IC meet this Friday.

I'm doing a *very very* girly thing and spending the day at a spa which also involves an overnight in the hotel. The manic shopping with the girls on the Saturday. Uh oh, heaven help my bank balance.

What!!!! I demand we revoke her FA membership right now! None of this girly pampering allowed, unless of course you're planning to break something while you're there

*Looks around* Hmmm, this seems to have all gone quiet recently. Am thinking of resurecting this idea. Not this weekend (due to parental visit), but would love to carry on with it on the 8th and 10th if people are still up for the idea.

My initial plan (I know, don't shoot me) is to kick a mission off at about quarter to eight ish on Friday. If people want to meet at the base before hand (say from half past seven, maybe), like usual don't be surprised if Lu isn't there. I want to try something different.

I'm thinking of having her call for assistance over the FA com (will also put a call out on the FA OOC channel in case people are on with other toons but still want to be involved, or have just forgotten.) Just thought it might be good to try something different and maybe catch the odd one or two people up in it that don't get chance to read these forums.

Anyway, that is the plan. I know some people won't be able to make it, but hopefully, if we can keep them going a bit longer, it shouldn't mean people miss out on IC mishing too much, if they want to be involved.
