Yeah, spotted these the other day.
Currently the VEAT's aren't even in their beta phase (as the devs stated they weren't ready to go into the issue 12 test phase just yet due to being in their alpha build at present) and until details of the specialisation levels and power options comes to light, I'm not gonna get too excited.
I am still making a Widow toon though as soon as issue 12 goes live, Cy WILL be lvl 50 by then, even if I have to go without sleep for a week to drag her there. And she'll never be seen in one of those stupid Widow helms, really don't like the look of 'em personally

The VEATs confuse me >.< I don't understand what primaries and secondaries there are.. From what ive assumed, there are 2 new epics, and then a few secondaries/primaries but apart from that im stumped!

Okay, please note that this is just MY thinking, based around the info we've been given, the way HEAT's work, and the usual speculation from the forums...
lvl 1, you pick either to go down the Fortuna-Blood Widow-Night Widow path, or the Wolf Spider-Bane Spider-Crab Spider path
Each path (and subsequent division of that path) will have it's own specific sets (as we've already seen in those screenies) much like PB's and WS's do (with the extra powers granted by shifting shape to Nova or Dwarf form)
Now then, as you lvl up to the specialisation lvl (no idea what that is yet, so couldn't tell you) you pick powers from your initial Primary and secondary, and I'm GUESSING that these powers will be ones that are common to all of the Mob classes in that path (so I'm THINKING stuff like defensive toggles in secondary, a few attacks that're a bit meh! in the primary)
Once you reach specialisation lvl (still no idea what it is, sorry) I'd expect the more exclusive powers which would be specific to the Arachnos mob type you've decided to become (and thus locking out the other possible branch, so no crab spider and bane spider powers on the same toon which makes sense since Banes are more stalkery, and Crab spiders more blasty) And EITHER giving you a selection of preset powers for that AT, like they do with Kheldians in their other forms, OR opening it up like a power pool, with the higher powers requiring several of the earlier ones to be picked up as well.
Not much help, and as I said, only MY thoughts on VEAT's, but that's just how they come across to me, and until solid details are released, my guess is as good as any other

Don't go taking that as fact, like I said, that's just the impression I get and a lil guess work

Okay, it's hit the test server, and I'm guessing I'm not gonna be the only one spending a lil bit of time checking out all the new shiny things (admit it, everyone wants to play with the new toys)
Just thought I'd let y'all know that there's a global channel set up (FA Test) so if anyone does venture over, join up and test the hell out of stuff together (or natter about the things you're not impressed with, arrange teams to see how new stuff works in groups of people you know you're likely to team with in future etc)

Well, currently I'm not either as Test server is having serious map server issues for me.
Putting it down to sheer player numbers in the early villain zones so gonna be back there when all sane people sleep
