Is now open to testing on the Training Room for those who'd like to have a play. First impressions... I'm gonna be deleting a whole lot of new alts about 30 seconds after creation when I forget to select weapon types on the creation screen. Now... Off to drag Ves into the time travel thing for an explore... |

And for anyone that's as much (or more) of a badge fiend as I am - The Isolator badge is available through the Ouroboros missions, so I can tell you that as soon as this goes live I will be going to get that badge on Shadowe. Now this is the easy way to get the badge.

Played for about half an hour last night (RP had finished for the night) and this morning (wasting time before college) and I can say that the new DBs feel awesome to play. Havent really had a chance to test out the WP set but having actually had a look at the different powers in it, it looks like it could turn out very nice.
I shall be investigating the Flashback system next time I'm on test.

Me like DB lots. Willpower seems like a regen/SR combo. The Ouroboros zone is nice, haven't completed any of the flashback missions yet but it looks good

I suspect a lot of us have plans for scrapper / tankers using Dual Blades and or Will Power when issue 11 launches. As such I thought it might be fun to suggest that if anyone wants to, we could create the characters at the same time and mission together.
No major role play planned, there is plenty of very cool RP at the mo’ (I’m loving Luminescence’s updates, they are the highlight of my pitiful lunch break) though it would be nice to play in character.
It would be nice to maybe team up for a few hours one weekday evening per week (major story lines permitting). Probably starting around 20.30 / 21.00 ending around 22.30.
It would be cool to theme the characters from medieval Japan / China, so Ninjas, Ronin, Samurai type dress would be nice, sort of making a 7 samurai type feel to the team. Though it does not have to be just dual blades / scrappers / tankers, anyone who wants to join in with a different build on the theme would of course be welcome.
Let me know if anyone is interested in joining in, and any suggestions for whether this should be hero’s or villains (I have a slight preference for villains purely because most of my toons are hero’s but I’m open to suggestions) also suggestions for a preferred server and day of the week are welcome.

Was thinking very similar things a few nights ago.
Personally, I'll be making at least 1 toon on both Red and Blue side, A DB / DA scrapper and a DB / Willpower Stalker or Brute.
Not too fussed about regular Hero teaming, we get plenty of that done already, both IC and OOC, but as some of us have recently refound the fun that is teaming with scallywags, a regular thing would be ace

Aye sounds good, although me, plas and Shad usually have an allready existing team on Mondays from about 20:00 - 22:00 anyway so any regular teaming might have to take that into account.
But I'd definitely be up for it, on either side/server. Just who to delete for it...

Aww, shucks. Well, I do have a dual blades scrapper in the works for I11 launch. He's a semi-RP toon, not sure if I'll play him much, to be honest, as I'm really enjoying playing Shad and Sam at the moment (as always).
Thanks for the kudos on my updates, though! I really enjoy writing them - unfortunately work is a little manic at the moment, so my time for creativity is severely curtailed. Once things settle down a bit, you can expect more!

Ok thanks for all the responses, here is a proposal, let me know your thoughts if you wanna join in / change the proposal.
Like Luminescence I don’t want to stop playing my main alts and I’m sure a lot of us don’t, so this is a for fun light RP proposal (chat in character, but no planned story arcs) and just joint missions, levelling as a team.
One evening a week, for as long as we enjoy it, (two weeks or two months, or what ever)
• Set in City of villains
• Defiant Server (I figure it’ll be less upsetting to clear space for a new toon on this one)
• Thursday Evenings from around 20.30 – 22.30 (Date to be confirmed after the launch)
• Toon build based around oldey orient
• Any Archetype welcome but I’m guessing most will be tanks or scrappers
Let me know your thoughts, and if you can join in.
As long as we get at least 4 names (myself included) then we will do it.
